About Candela
Teaching Spanish is something I truly enjoy and feel passionate about. I’m a very responsible person who likes to prepare each class carefully so that students can make the most of their time. What motivates me the most is seeing my students reach the point where they can hold real conversations — that’s when language learning becomes natural and fun. I love creating a relaxed atmosphere where we can talk, laugh, and learn together while challenging their Spanish skills. Sharing this language that I love so much and helping others connect with it is what makes teaching so rewarding for me.

My first step is always to get to know the student — to understand their current level, goals, and main interests. I like to hear what they want to focus on and how often they plan to take classes, so I can organize the contents and rhythm that best suit them. My goal is to make learning Spanish a fun and stress-free experience. Having learned English as an adult, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and can easily identify common strengths and difficulties. I adapt my teaching to each person’s needs, making sure lessons feel natural, practical, and motivating.

My in person group lessons with Candela were fun and relaxed. She was able to tailor the lessons to whatever level was needed. She used a variety of materials to teach us including written exercises and conversation in a stress free manner. She is a lovely personable young woman who I would highly recommend as an instructor.
Candela was a great teacher and made Spanish easy to understand and learn. She helped me prepare for a Central America trip with practical knowledge and understanding. I would recommend her to anyone looking to learn Spanish.
Candela is a wonderful teacher, she had nice organized lesson plans that were fun and well designed and I felt were nicely tailored to my learning needs. I highly recommend her to anyone trying to learn or advance their Spanish!
