About Jane

Hello! I’m Jane, an experienced education professional with 12 years of experience working with students across the UK, the USA, and Latin America.

As a native Spanish speaker who grew up bilingual and has lived and worked in several countries, including Panama and Spain, I bring a broad international perspective to my teaching. I have experience tutoring primary-school pupils, teaching young and mature students from a range of international backgrounds, and supporting young people with their academic progress and personal development.

I hold a BSc in International Affairs from Florida State University, a TEFL Certificate, and an MA in International Education from the University of Bath.

About the lesson

Whether you are a complete beginner, looking to improve your conversational fluency, or developing your reading, writing and grammar, I can tailor lessons to your level and goals. As a native speaker with experience living in Spain and Latin America, I can also help you develop a natural understanding of the language and its cultural context.

Lessons can either be informal and focus on conversational skills and building fluency, or can take an academic approach and support with GCSEs or A Levels. Each lesson will be 45 minutes long.
