About Prabhjot
Hi! My name is Prabhjot. I’m a native Punjabi speaker, a working professional, and a proud mom of two.
As a mother, I understand how important it is for parents to keep their children connected to their language and culture while growing up in Canada. I also understand that every child learns differently, and patience and encouragement can make a big difference.
I work full-time in an administrative and Accounts Payable role, which has helped me develop strong communication, organization, responsibility, and attention to detail. Outside of work, I’m a busy mom who enjoys spending time with my family and helping my children learn and grow.
I’m now starting my journey as a Punjabi tutor because I would love to share my language with children and beginners in a friendly and comfortable environment. I’m particularly interested in helping children develop their Punjabi speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary, and everyday conversation skills.
My approach is patient, encouraging, and adapted to each student's level. I want students to feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and practicing without feeling pressured.
If you're a parent looking for someone who understands children, values Punjabi language and culture, and genuinely wants to help your child learn, I would be happy to be part of their learning journey.

I’m a native Punjabi speaker and I’m passionate about helping children and beginners learn Punjabi in a simple, comfortable and enjoyable way.
My lessons will be adapted to each student’s level and learning needs. I’ll focus on practical Punjabi that students can use in everyday conversations, along with reading and writing skills. For children, I’ll use simple explanations, repetition, conversation practice, vocabulary, and fun activities to keep them engaged.
A typical lesson may include a short review of what we learned previously, new vocabulary or letters/words, reading or writing practice, and conversation practice. I’ll adjust the pace depending on the student and make sure they understand each topic before moving forward.
As I’m starting my tutoring journey, I’m offering a friendly and patient learning environment where students can feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
My lessons are suitable for children, beginners, and anyone who would like to improve their Punjabi speaking, reading or writing skills.
