About SIYI
Hi! I'm Grace, a native Mandarin speaker from China and currently living in Port Macquarie, Australia.
I have an official Putonghua Proficiency Certificate and a bachelor's degree. Before moving to Australia, I worked as a flight attendant for six years, where I communicated with people from different backgrounds every day. That experience taught me how to be patient, friendly, and supportive.
I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and sharing the Chinese language and culture in a relaxed way. If you're just starting to learn Mandarin, don't worry—I understand how challenging a new language can feel, and I'll help you learn step by step at your own pace.

My lessons focus on practical Mandarin that you can use in everyday life. Whether you're learning Chinese for travel, work, or personal interest, we'll practise useful language from the very first lesson.
Classes include speaking, listening, pronunciation, tones, and everyday vocabulary. We'll learn through conversations, role-playing, pictures, and real-life situations instead of memorising long grammar rules.
