About Yee Leng

Hi, I’m Yee Leng! I'm a native Mandarin speaker. My background in Chinese media, including experience as a magazine editor and radio producer, allows me to bring practical language use and cultural insights into my teaching. My teaching style is interactive, fun, and practical. I adapt my lessons to suit each student’s level and learning goal, whether it’s for school exams, daily conversation, or business use. I’m passionate about helping learners build confidence in Mandarin through engaging activities, real-life examples, and a warm, encouraging environment. Let’s learn Mandarin the enjoyable way!

About the lesson

I’m a native Mandarin speaker with a degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. I use interactive and fun methods — like games, dialogues, and real-life examples — to help students stay engaged and improve fast. Lessons are 30 mins to 1 hour long, depending on age and focus level. My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary school students (PT3, SPM) as well as adult learners who are beginners or looking to improve conversational or business Mandarin.
