About Monroe
I am a qualified Early Childhood and Primary Teacher in Australia with experience teaching Chinese to young children. I am a native Mandarin speaker and achieved a score of 94.1 in the Mandarin Proficiency Test. I also hold an IELTS score of 8.0 overall, which enables me to clearly explain language concepts to English-speaking learners.
I was a previous dance instructor across a variety of Beijing's studios. I also hold a Senior High School Fine Art teaching qualification.
I am an outgoing, sociable, positive and kindhearted person looking forward to obtaining more teaching experience.

My intention is to provide a learner-centered and engaging teaching style. Lessons are individually tailored to suit each student's learning goals, pace, and interests.
My teaching background has provided me with strong skills in lesson planning, differentiation, and supporting learners with diverse needs and learning styles. I will use a combination of structured language instruction and interactive activities to develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
