Hello! My name is Judy, and I am a native speaker of both Mandarin and Cantonese with a professional background as a clinician for over ten years. My career has trained me to be patient, attentive, and precise — qualities that I now bring into my teaching. My Teaching Approach
Teaching Methods and Techniques
I believe in a student-centered and interactive teaching style. My lessons focus on practical communication, cultural context, and confidence-building. A Typical Lesson Plan
Warm-up: Quick review of previous material with short dialogue or quiz.
New Content: Introduction of vocabulary/expressions with explanation and examples.
Practice: Interactive activities such as dialogues, role-play, or listening/watching short clips.
Feedback and Correction: Immediate support to improve pronunciation, tone, or phrasing.
Wrap-up: Summary and small homework task (optional) to reinforce learning.
