About Ched

Welcome! As a dedicated and experienced Chinese language tutor, I am committed to helping you achieve your learning goals in an engaging and effective way. I have a strong background in both the Chinese language and its rich cultural context, ensuring that you not only learn the language but also gain insight into Chinese culture, traditions, and customs. My teaching approach is tailored to meet the individual needs of each student, and I use a combination of proven methods, interactive techniques, and modern resources to ensure that every lesson is both enjoyable and impactful.

About the lesson

My Teaching Method and Techniques: My teaching method focuses on practical communication skills, ensuring students are able to use Chinese in real-life situations. I emphasize speaking and listening, while also introducing vocabulary, grammar, and cultural context. I use interactive activities like role-playing, real-world scenarios, and multimedia resources (videos, songs, etc.) to keep lessons engaging and effective.

A Typical Lesson Plan:

Warm-up (5 minutes): A quick review of the previous lesson or a simple conversation to get students comfortable speaking.
Introduction to New Content (15-20 minutes): I introduce new vocabulary or grammar points, followed by examples and contextual usage.
Practice (15-20 minutes): Students engage in practice activities, such as dialogues or exercises that reinforce the new content.
Wrap-up (5-10 minutes): Recap of key points, address questions, and set practice goals for the next lesson.
What Sets You Apart as a Tutor: What sets me apart is my ability to tailor lessons to each student's learning style and needs. I focus on building confidence and creating a relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable making mistakes. Additionally, I provide insights into Chinese culture, customs, and daily life, which helps students understand the language beyond just words.

Who the Lessons Are For: My lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate learners who want to improve their spoken and written Chinese. Whether you're a student looking to gain a deeper understanding of Chinese, a business professional needing language skills for work, or someone interested in Chinese culture, my lessons can be adapted to fit your specific needs.M
