About Jason
I am a native Korean speaker who grew up in Korea and have lived in several countries, which has given me a strong understanding of how to explain Korean clearly to international learners. I am currently a student at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Because I have learned languages myself and lived in different cultures, I understand the challenges students face and focus on making lessons approachable, practical, and comfortable for learners at any level.

I focus on helping students learn Korean in a practical and natural way. My lessons emphasize real conversation, pronunciation, and understanding Korean culture, not just memorizing grammar.
A typical lesson includes conversational practice, vocabulary building, and learning useful phrases used in everyday situations. I adapt lessons to each student’s level, whether they are complete beginners, preparing for travel to Korea, or looking to improve their speaking confidence.
Because I grew up in Korea and internationally, I can also explain cultural context and how Korean is actually used in real life.
