About Ryuta
I was born in Shizuoka, Japan, and grew up in Kyoto from the age of 4 until I was 18. I attended an international school for both elementary and middle school, which helped me become fluent in both Japanese and English.
I moved to the United States to play soccer at the college level and currently compete as a Division I athlete at the University of North Florida.
As a bilingual speaker, I can support students at all levels, especially beginners. In my lessons, I teach not only grammar and basics but also natural expressions, slang, and commonly used phrases that native Japanese speakers use in everyday life.
My lessons are fun, relaxed, and conversation-focused, and I tailor each lesson to your level and goals. I create a friendly and comfortable environment where you can speak without worrying about mistakes and build confidence step by step.
