Hi, I am a Greek-American who was brought up speaking Greek at home, and helping my mother, a Greek teacher, with her classes. I have over five years of experience giving private Greek lessons to students of all ages (ranging from children as young as six to adults) at beginner and intermediate levels

I base my lesson plans around the level and desired results of my students. For younger children, I rely on stories, games, and simple exercises to familiarize my student(s) with the language, whereas with adults I prefer to focus on grammar, sentence structure, and basic vocabulary. Again, this does depend on the desired outcome - some students prefer to focus on speaking, reading, writing, etc.
