About Linda
Hi, I'm Linda.
Languages have shaped my entire life. I'm a native German speaker, I lived in London for 9 years, and I now split my time between different countries - living the multilingual life I teach, not just talking about it.
Alongside teaching, I work as a translator and proofreader, which keeps me deeply immersed in the languages I teach every single day.
I hold the CELTA certificate and have over 25 years of experience teaching, from language schools and companies in Costa Rica and Germany to corporate clients like Google, Facebook, Red Bull and many more.
I've taught children, teenagers and adults - complete beginners through to advanced learners looking to refine their fluency.
I'm patient, precise, and genuinely invested in my students' progress.
If you've tried to learn German before and felt stuck, I'd love to help you get unstuck - my approach is built on making grammar make sense, not on rote memorisation.

are you interested in learning German or improving it?
I'm a native German speaker with 25+ years of experience as a teacher and tutor, working with students of all ages and levels. Teaching languages is my passion, and I love passing that on to motivated learners.
German grammar has a logical structure - the problem is rarely the language itself, it's how it's usually taught. My approach breaks grammar down into clear, repeatable patterns (I call them "Linda's Rules") so things finally click instead of feeling like lists and tables to memorise.
Lessons combine structured grammar work with real conversation practice, so you're not just learning rules, you're using them.
I have taught in language schools and companies across Costa Rica, Germany, and the UK, including 1-on-1 lessons, group sessions, and courses for companies like Google, Facebook and Red Bull.
My lessons are tailored to you - whether that's fixing specific sticking points, building confidence from scratch, or working towards fluency for work, study, or daily life.
Lessons are suitable for school students, adult learners, professionals, and anyone who's tried to learn German before and got stuck.
