About Elisabeth
I am currently a student pursuing my Master’s degree in Bristol. I am a native German speaker with 5 years of experience tutoring. I like to design my lessons around the individual needs of each student to really provide a learning experience that is tailored to each student’s unique learning style. In doing so, I hope to share my passion for languages!

I teach anyone from beginners to advanced speakers looking to practice the language with a native speaker. I like to cater to the individual needs of each student and offer a variety of teaching styles. These range from speaking practices, to listening and reading comprehension and even essay practice for more advanced students. I like to incorporate various materials into my lessons, such as journal/newspaper articles, podcasts, film clips, literature and art. This provides each student with an exciting and three dimensional learning experience, with which I hope to really inspire a passion for the German language.

I found Elisabeth by searching online for a German Language Tutor. Happily for me, Elisabeth is a wonderful Tutor and I have progressed from complete beginner to Level A1-A2 in 22 hours of online tuition. Elisabeth is easy to communicate with, encouraging, patient and moreover has an expert’s understanding of common English language ‘traps’ and ‘false friends’ for the novice German Language Student. Elisabeth is meticulous in her preparation for our lesson and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Elisabeth was my tutor for a year and I have nothing but praise for her. Elisabeth is very understanding, encouraging and supportive and really helped me to improve my German skills. She went the extra mile, for example, by giving me a list of key phrases or words to make a text flow better, synonyms and much more. The lessons were really varied and interesting and I cannot thank her enough for her teaching. I would 100% recommend Elisabeth.
