About Megan
I am currently a third year linguistics student at the University of Edinburgh and am hoping to further strengthen my understanding of language (and yours) by teaching my native language German.
Having previously tutored German at GCSE level and sat through a German A-level myself, has enabled me to understand my own native language from the perspective of someone learnig it anew. I look forward to being able to help and teach my native language to anyone who wishes to learn it, be it a primary, GCSE or A-level student or just anyone with an interest in German.

Lessons will run for 45 minutes and are always tailored to the specific needs of each student. I also want to make learning German fun and often include games, kahoots and similar techniques in my lessons, a sort of learning by having fun. As a bilingual German and English speaker and a linguistics student I believe that learning a language, as difficult as that may be, should still be fun and that learning by doing is the most succesful way of mastering a new language.
