About Clementine
I'm a native French speaker from France, now living in West Yorkshire after many years living and working internationally.
Having lived in different countries and raising a multilingual family, I understand first-hand what it takes to learn a new language and, most importantly, to feel confident using it.
I offer friendly, personalised French lessons for both teenagers and adults, whether you're studying French at school, preparing for GCSEs or A-Levels, looking to improve your French for work or travel, or simply wanting to feel more comfortable having a conversation.
My approach is flexible and tailored to your needs. We can focus on speaking and pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, homework support or building confidence in everyday conversations.
I'm patient, approachable and encouraging, and I aim to create a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and progressing at your own pace.
Above all, I want to make learning French enjoyable, practical and relevant to you, whether that means feeling more confident in the classroom, at work or on your next trip to France.
My goal is simple: to help you not just learn French, but actually use it with confidence.

As a native French speaker, Clementine has really helped my daughter show quick improvements in her high school French lessons.
I absolutely love learning French with her! Her fluency in English is amazing, which makes explaining the language so clear and easy to understand. As a native French speaker, it’s also wonderful to learn directly from someone who brings such authentic knowledge and insight into the language and culture.
She has such a bubbly, friendly and approachable personality, which makes every lesson enjoyable and comfortable. She is incredibly patient and encouraging, never putting any pressure on you, and always makes you feel confident to ask questions and learn at your own pace.
I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn French — she makes the whole experience fun, relaxed and genuinely enjoyable!View more recommendations
