About Carine
Outside the classroom, I love traveling, discovering new cultures, trying new foods, and losing myself in a good film — and all of it feeds back into my teaching. A trip, a meal, or a movie often becomes a lesson topic, a way to talk about real life in French rather than just rules on a page. That mix of creativity, curiosity, and genuine love for the world is what keeps me excited to teach, even after 20 years.

Bonjour et bienvenue! I'm a native French speaker with 20 years of teaching experience across France and Ireland, working with students of all ages — from curious children to motivated teenagers and adults.
I currently teach in a mainstream Irish secondary school, where I prepare students for the Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate oral and written exams — so I know exactly what examiners are looking for and how to help you build real confidence for exam day.
I'm also an official DELF/DALF examiner and corrector (levels A1 to C2), which means I understand these exams from the inside. Whether you're a child taking your first steps in French, a teenager working toward a certification, or an adult preparing for a competitive DELF/DALF exam, I can guide you with a clear, exam-focused strategy — while keeping lessons genuinely enjoyable.
Beyond exam preparation, I love hosting relaxed, varied conversation classes — the kind where you actually forget you're "studying" and just start speaking.
