About Lucile
I'm Lucile, a native of Lyon, now living in Pärnu, Estonia. I've learned four languages myself, so I know firsthand what it's like to lose fluency in a language you once studied, and how frustrating it feels to understand everything but freeze the moment you try to speak.
That experience shapes the way I teach. I never follow a textbook: every lesson is built around your personal history with French, your goals, and your pace.
Whether you studied French in high school or college years ago, have French heritage you'd love to reconnect with, need French for work or travel, or are prepping for a specific exam, I'll guide you step by step — no judgment for the "basic" mistakes you're afraid of making again.

Learned French years ago and never got to actually use it? Getting ready for the DELF or DALF? I'm a native French teacher from Lyon, based in Estonia and teaching online worldwide, helping adults reactivate the French they already know and finally speak it with confidence.

This is the situation I see most often, and it's exactly what I specialize in: reactivating "sleeping" French. You probably understand more than you think — the real work is rebuilding oral fluency, not starting from zero. Together we pinpoint what's holding you back, refresh everyday vocabulary, and practice real conversation until speaking feels natural again.
> Preparing for the DELF or DALF?
I offer focused exam prep for the DELF (A1 to B2) and DALF (C1-C2): practice across all four skills (reading, listening, writing, speaking), exam-specific strategy, timed mock exams, and detailed feedback after each one. Whether you need it for university admission, immigration, or a personal goal, my aim is to get you into that exam room with a clear game plan and genuine confidence.
> New to French or working on general fluency?
Before each lesson, I'll ask you to prepare a short piece of writing on a topic you actually enjoy — we read and correct it together, then you get a corrected version to review on your own time. Lessons are built around materials I create myself, tailored to your level, covering speaking, writing, listening, and comprehension — with room for creative writing if that's something you'd enjoy exploring.
