About Tobi
I grew up in Brussels, Belgium and moved to Canada in 2014. I just recently graduated from the Industrial Engineering program at the University of Toronto and am aspiring to break into the data science industry. I love meeting people and hearing about different backgrounds and life stories.
During my last two years of high school I developed experience teaching French online as part of a Language Exchange Community. Then ever since moving to Canada I have started with coaching friends in French and expanded to friends of friends as word of mouth got around!

My approach is entirely flexible and meant to be tailored specifically to your own needs and goals which will be determined over our first session.
I believe that today's modern spoken french can only be attained by PRACTICING and TALKING.
Therefore, you should have a bottle of water ready next to you as I am going to make you talk a lot and step outside that comfort zone.

Fantastic Teacher.
Thanks to his tutoring I was able to get the job in Quebec.
Tobi is an amazing teacher with obvious experience. He understood perfectly my requirements and provided an organised, effective learning system. Each session was engaging and fun. I now continue my lessons online. I would highly recommend him.Tobi has been my French teacher for just short of a year. His passion, patience, and methodical teaching method has allowed me to grow in my confidence in speaking and understanding French. For those that want to expand their French proficiency by leaps and bounds, I highly recommend Tobi!
Tobi is a very structured tutor. Lessons are organized and more importantly he is fun to learn with. Tobi is helping me prepare to move to a French speaking city and has been very helpful. He is also very flexible when it comes to scheduling. Highly recommended tutor!
Always building personal connections whether whoever he is dealing with. Tobi ensures you walk away speaking better French that his native tongue. Merci Tobi!
