My teaching methods are based on the use of various interactive methods designed to encourage students to practice French with ease and confidence.
Interaction with students using various interactive resources: songs, newspapers and online articles, short video extracts, games, online tests...
Focus period on vocabulary / grammar / comprehension points: Explanations to students with a small task to be completed by the student, followed by a review together.
What sets me apart as a tutor:
# I am a native French tutor who has extensively studied several foreign languages (German, English, Spanish, Japanese...) for many years and who is VERY familiar with the difficulties and sometimes frustration that can arise when is learning a foreign language.
# I am almost completely trilingual: in addition to French, I have advanced levels of English (C1-C2) and Spanish (C1-C2)
# An open-minded, cosmopolitan and highly educated tutor, I have traveled and lived extensively in various countries (Switzerland, France, Ireland, England, Colombia) and have always been fascinated by sharing and learning about diverse cultures and other life experiences.
# Wide availability in terms of days and time slots. I currently reside in South America (Colombia) but I always try to find a schedule that suits both my student and myself. Available to work from Monday to Friday (full day), Saturday (afternoons and nights) and sometimes on Sundays.
# Always with the aim of improving my pedagogical skills, I am about to start a French teaching course that will allow me to receive, upon successful completion, an official French certification granted by the Alliance Française
