About Firdaus
I attended the MSc in Finance from the University of Nova and my BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick. I have dual nationality, English and Portuguese and have completed my A-Levels in the United Kingdom. (Mathematics with Statistics, Economics and Spanish)

My teaching method is geared towards the student's needs. I believe in a methodology that allows an individual to build a solid knowledge base, and then provide the student with all the tools necessary to make further progress. More specifically, I follow the approach of Constructivism, which is student-centered, for example, a visual learner would require mind maps, cue cards and more graphics, while an audio learner would have a preference for podcasts. As such, my teaching varies significantly and is adapted to each individual student. However, if a student prefers a traditional teaching approach, this can also be met.
