About Shannan
Hello! My name is Shannan, and I’ve been a tutor for over 20 years. Throughout that time, I’ve had the privilege of helping students of all ages grow in confidence and improve their academic performance—especially in English language and writing. In addition to tutoring professionally, I’ve personally guided three of my children through school and successfully supported one all the way to college. I understand the challenges students face, both in school and in building study habits, and I bring that same care and dedication to every student I work with. I hold an associate’s degree and have completed many advanced English and writing courses. My strength lies in my ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, patient, and supportive way. Whether you’re learning English as a second language, improving your grammar, working on essays, or just need extra help with reading or writing, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
