About Alexander
I’m a native English teacher from Bournemouth in the south of England, currently living in Brazil. I also spent many years living in Alicante, Spain, where I developed my passion for working with international learners and culturally diverse classrooms.
I teach the American High School programme in Cuiabá, Brazil, delivered in partnership with the University of Missouri, where students follow a dual-curriculum model that leads to both Brazilian and U.S. high school certification.
I love helping students build confidence and achieve their English language goals — whether that’s fluency, academic success or exam preparation. My lessons are personalised, engaging and tailored to your needs, using interactive resources and real-world materials to make learning enjoyable and effective.

I offer personalised, engaging lessons with access to a range of quality teaching platforms and carefully selected interactive textbooks to meet each student’s unique learning goals. My classes are fun, dynamic and fully customised to your level and objectives.
I use the communicative approach, a learner-centred method that emphasises real-world communication and can be tailored to your strengths and needs. Lessons focus on all four language skills — reading, writing, listening and speaking — and we can prioritise whichever areas you want to improve most.
To make learning relevant and enjoyable, I also use authentic materials such as films, series, music and literature, helping you build confidence and fluency in real situations.
Whether you’re preparing for exams, improving professional English, or building everyday skills, I’m here to help you progress with clear goals and measurable results.
