About Zhongyi
Over 20 years of Mandarin Tutoring experience. I have been teaching consistently from the early 2000s when I was still in the university. I was delivering the ‘language exchange programme’ on behalf of the university on a voluntary basis and since then, the Mandarin teaching continued on. I am used to tutor a group of students and I have gained a lot of experience with younger children and private school children (Tonbridge School, Sevenoaks School and other schools in the Kent area) since I moved to Royal Tunbridge Wells in 2012 and Sevenoaks in 2020.

I am able to customise my teaching plan according to the requirement of my students. I always observe the students' behaviour, learning pace and capabilities in order to make the course more interesting, easily digestible as well as educational. I try to stay away from the traditional textbook method, using real life experience as well as real world scenarios to make lessons more interesting and pragmatic.
