About Zijing
Hi, I’m Zijing, a native Chinese speaker with a strong background in language and education. I hold a Master of Nursing from the University of Wollongong (UOW) and a Bachelor’s degree in English Translation from Shenyang Normal University. After graduation, I worked as a bilingual paralegal at Chodorow Law Offices. Then moved to New Zealand and worked as a duty manager in YMCA North. I believe that with my bilingual expertise and IELTS 7.5 score, I can effectively bridge the gap between Chinese and English, making Mandarin learning smooth and enjoyable for all students.

As a native Chinese speaker with a background in English translation and a Master of Nursing student at UOW, I bring a unique, bilingual approach to teaching Mandarin. My IELTS 7.5 score ensures that I can effectively explain concepts to English-speaking students, making learning Chinese easier and more enjoyable. I focus on interactive, student-centered learning tailored to each student’s needs. My lessons include: Conversational Practice: Real-life dialogues to build fluency and confidence. Grammar & Writing: Step-by-step explanations with practical exercises. Pronunciation & Tones: Techniques to master Mandarin’s unique sound system. Customized Lessons: Lessons adapted to each student’s goals, whether for travel, business, exams, or daily communication. Each lesson lasts 60 minutes, with a mix of speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities.
