Hello! I’m Laura, a native Chinese speaker passionate about helping students learn Chinese confidently and effectively. I focus on practical conversation skills, authentic expressions, and cultural insights, so you’ll not only speak the language but also understand how it’s used in real life.

My Teaching Methodology and Techniques:
As a native Chinese speaker, I focus on practical, real-life conversation skills. I believe the best way to learn a language is by actively using it, not just memorizing grammar or vocabulary. I use interactive techniques such as role-playing, dialogue practice, and contextual exercises to make learning engaging and relevant. I also encourage students to ask questions and share their experiences to make the lesson more personal.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level and goals, but a typical 60-minute class may include:
Warm-up conversation – casual chat to practice speaking naturally
Vocabulary and expression review – new words or phrases in context
Interactive activity – role-play, reading, or listening exercises
Practical application – using new knowledge in real-life situations
