About Serene

Hello! I'm a passionate Mandarin speaker who enjoys helping others learn Chinese in a clear, patient, and encouraging way. I believe every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand each person's goals and adapt my teaching approach to suit their learning style.

I am organized, responsible, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace. Whether you're learning Mandarin for school, work, travel, or personal interest, I'll help you build a strong foundation and gain confidence in using the language. My aim is to make every lesson practical, engaging, and enjoyable while helping you achieve your learning goals.

About the lesson

I believe that learning Mandarin should be practical, engaging, and tailored to each student's goals. My lessons focus on building confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing through interactive conversations, vocabulary exercises, pronunciation practice, and real-life examples.

Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes and is customised to match your learning pace and level. Whether you are learning Mandarin for school, work, travel, or personal interest, I will create lessons that suit your needs and help you make steady progress.

I welcome beginners, primary and secondary school students, adults, and anyone interested in learning Mandarin. I aim to provide a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and practising the language. My goal is to help you develop strong communication skills while making the learning process enjoyable and effective.
