About Lillian
I’m from Canada, and I speak both English and Mandarin. I’m currently a university student majoring in Business and Fine Arts, minoring in Economics and Psychology, so I’m especially comfortable talking about art, business, university life, culture, and current events. I also love traveling and learning about different countries and cultures. One of my favorite parts of traveling is meeting people and hearing about how life differs around the world. In my free time, I enjoy all types of activities, including arts and crafts and sports. I recently got into horseback riding, so I am happy to share and talk about pretty much anything! My goal is to create a relaxed environment where you can speak naturally, make mistakes without feeling embarrassed, and gradually become more confident using English in real life.

My lessons are personalized, conversational, and focused on building real confidence in English. I adapt each lesson to the student’s age, level, and goals, whether that means pronunciation, vocabulary, everyday conversation, school English, or professional communication.
For younger students, I keep lessons engaging and interactive with questions, games, stories, and age-appropriate activities. For teens and adults, I use real-life topics and natural conversation while correcting grammar, pronunciation, and word choice along the way.
I have experience working with children ages 3–5 and teaching English to middle school students at Tsinghua University High School in China. My goal is to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, and improving naturally.
