My Approach as a Tagalog Tutor
As a Filipino citizen since birth and a native speaker of Tagalog, I aim to make every lesson practical, comfortable, and engaging. I teach not only the language itself but also the natural expressions, pronunciation, and cultural context that help learners communicate confidently with Filipino speakers.
Teaching Method and Techniques
My teaching approach focuses on conversation, vocabulary building, pronunciation, sentence construction, and practical everyday expressions. I adjust my teaching style according to each learner’s level, goals, and pace. Lessons may include guided conversations, pronunciation exercises, vocabulary activities, reading practice, and simple dialogues based on real-life situations.
Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous topics, followed by the introduction of new vocabulary or grammar. We then practice through examples, guided exercises, and conversations. The lesson ends with a short activity or conversation to help reinforce what was learned and identify areas for improvement.
