About Purna
Hello! My name is Purna and I’m from Chattogram, Bangladesh. I’m a passionate Bengali language tutor who truly enjoys helping students learn in a way that feels natural, simple, and enjoyable. I love seeing students gain confidence as they discover how beautiful and expressive the Bengali language can be.
I have experience teaching Bengali to both beginners and advanced learners, and I tailor my lessons based on each student’s goals—whether it’s speaking confidently, improving reading and writing skills, or understanding Bengali culture and daily conversation. Patience and encouragement are at the heart of my teaching style.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, traveling, exploring new food experiences, and connecting with people from different cultures. I’m excited to support you on your Bengali learning journey.
I have been teaching Bengali for more than 8 years through private tutoring. During this time, I have worked with students of different age groups—both school learners and adults—helping them improve their speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension skills. Although I do not hold formal teaching certificates, my experience has given me a strong understanding of how to guide students based on their learning style and pace. I focus on practical communication, vocabulary building, and grammar, along with cultural context to make learning more engaging and relevant. My lessons are structured but flexible, because I believe that every student learns best in their own way.
