About Mashail
I'm a teaching assistant of Statistics at University of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, but currently I'm in Edinburgh where I just recently graduated with MSc of Statistics and data science from the University of Edinburgh.
Before coming to Edinburgh and doing this master, I taught general statistics course to university freshers for two years at University of Jeddah. Additionally, I have BSc in Statistics and another master in business administration (EMBA). I had also previously worked as financial accounting analyst for three years and a half.

I can be flexible when it comes to teaching methods where I do believe that a good teacher should always consider the audience whom they will teach and adjust their teaching methodology in accordance. Therefore, I'll try to fit the lesson structure to what is required and favored by my student/students.
Accordingly, two things I'll basically anticipate from my student/students at first:
For Arabic language:
- What is your level in learning Arabic and which Arabic dialect have you been learning?
- Whether you only want to practice your Arabic specking (conversation classes) AND/OR learning other language skills (writing/grammar...)?
For Statistics:
- What is exactly they want to learn or the specific area of Statistics they are interested in?
- What are the goals that they are aiming to achieve by taking special/private tutoring?
