About Elizabeth
I am a dedicated and reliable tutor who is passionate about helping students build confidence and succeed in English. As a Year 10 student studying Literature Extension and consistently achieving A grades since Year 7, I have a strong understanding of both foundational and advanced English skills.
I take a professional and supportive approach to tutoring, ensuring each lesson is well-structured, engaging, and tailored to the individual student’s needs. I understand that every child learns differently, so I focus on creating a positive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their abilities at their own pace.
Through my experience working with children as a babysitter and dance teacher, I have developed strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to keep students focused and motivated. I am committed to being punctual, organized, and prepared for every session, and I always aim to provide high-quality support that helps students improve both their skills and confidence.
My goal is not only to help students achieve better results in English, but also to help them enjoy learning and feel proud of their progress. I'm big on connection with my student and making them feel supported.

My approach to tutoring is to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable and confident to learn. I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s individual needs, focusing on building their skills step by step while keeping lessons enjoyable and interactive. I use a mix of reading, writing, and discussion-based activities to help students improve their comprehension, grammar, and overall confidence in English.
A typical lesson runs for 45–60 minutes, depending on the student’s age and focus level. Lessons usually include a warm-up activity (such as reading or a short exercise), followed by targeted learning (like writing, spelling, or comprehension tasks), and finishing with a recap or fun activity to reinforce what was learned.
While I am a Year 10 student, I am highly advanced in English and Literature, currently studying Literature Extension, and have consistently achieved A grades since Year 7. I also have experience working with children through babysitting and teaching dance, which has helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to keep students engaged.
My lessons are designed for children aged 4–13, from early learners developing basic reading and writing skills to older students needing support with comprehension, schoolwork, and improving their overall English ability.
