My name is Tim and I teach math for high school and elementary school every year. I have experience of working as a substitute teacher in high school, and I am currently studying statistics at Lund U

About Tim
I am a person who all my life has struggled with math, thought it was incomprehensible, unnecessary and boring, and have never had any real ambition to become good. This changed about a year ago when I decided I wanted to start studying again and get into a good university. Suddenly I had a reason to become good at math, and therefore needed to come up with my own methods to really understand it. I have spent many hours visualizing mathematical concepts to make them more comprehensible. The effort paid off, as I got the highest grade in all the high school's math courses. My hatred for math turned into a genuine interest, and hopefully my future career.
I hope to be able to show you that math is not boring, but that it can be incredibly fun if you give it a try, get the right help, and put in the time!

The goal of my teaching is to give you as good an understanding of mathematics as possible, not just knowledge that is enough to pass an exam and then be forgotten. Without a deeper knowledge and understanding of mathematics that will be applicable to you in your future mathematics studies.
My lessons are one hour long, and can consist of both reviews or exercises.
I have experience of working as a substitute teacher in high school, and middle school in mainly mathematics, physics and chemistry. In addition, in my spare time I have devoted a lot of time to homework help for friends and siblings. My lessons suit all levels of knowledge and ages, but perhaps especially those who struggle a little extra with math.
