About Paula
Hi! My name is Paula and I'm an Erasmus student, here in Ireland for the next year. I'm completing a degree in Economics and International Relations and, as a bonus, I dedicate part of my time to tutoring those who need a helping hand with English (at home) or Spanish, here in Ireland. I'm used to woking with children and teenagers, making learning a new language a piece of cake!
In my day-to-day, I'm a responsible student and a tough worker, qualities I export to my work. From me, you can expect punctuality and professionalism, but also kindness and engagement.
Some of my hobbies include traveling and learning new languages (as of now, I speak Spanish, English, French and German). I'm also a passionate reader and an average tennis player (although I still love to play!)

As a native speaker, my lessons are focused on conversation, pronunciation and vocabulary.
My experience as a tutor has taught me that a combining spelling and grammar with more interactive activities, such reading short stories, watching educative videos and dedicating a few minutes to chat is the way to go in order to improve your Spanish.
My lessons can be tailored to match different needs and learning paces. They can vary from games and fun activities for our younger learners to conversation-focused lessons for those who need Spanish as a communication tool in a more formal setting, or intensive lessons in grammar, vocab and spelling for anyone preparing for an official exam or as reinforcement for Leaving Cert.
