About Julia
I am a Youth Work student originally from Ballarat. I achieved a 95+ ATAR in 2016, and completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biochemistry in 2019, so I’ve had lots of practice at studying! I work part time in a school boarding house, and I get to tutor as a part of my job there. I love connecting with the kids on an educational level, and want to do more teaching/tutoring outside of this role!

I take a very personal approach. The way I structure the session will depend on the student. Each student learns differently, and so I tailor both the content and the pace of sessions to ensure the best outcome! Sometimes a student might not be able to articulate what they don’t understand so I focus on making the student feel comfortable in the learning setting: if a student feels comfortable enough to give things a go and make mistakes, we have more to work with as a team!
