About Frieda
Hi, my name is Frieda. I chose to study Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at the University of Liverpool because I love technology and wanted to dive deeper into how it works behind the scenes; which then, drove me into mechatronic engineering.
However, alongside my love for technology, I also have an unfounded love for mathematics and the way this world works, which urges me to share this knowledge and passion with fellow students. Which is why I chose to tutor.

My lessons are designed for GCSE Maths and Physics, with an addition of A-level Maths, designed and targeted for all abilities at all stages. As a current Mechatronics Engineer, I know exactly what it takes to master STEM subjects and apply them in the real world.
My lessons consist of me meeting you at your current level and building your confidence from there. I create specialised, custom papers tailored to target the exact topics you struggle with most, ensuring we turn your weaknesses into strengths.
A typical lesson lasts for a minimum of 1 hour, which follows a structure of:
*First 10 minutes: A quick recap using targeted questions based on our previous lesson to solidify memory and track progress.
* Next 30 minutes: Diving into a new topic. We will cover the theory together and work through step-by-step guided examples.
*Final 20 minutes: Applying what you have learned through exam paper exercises, which will combine everything learned so far so you can practise exam-style scenarios.
*Finally, I will assign a very concise homework paper, which will help carry what was learnt in the lesson, further.
