About Emily
As mentioned before I am in my last semester of College. I am getting my master's degree in Secondary Education specializing in English. My minor's degree is also English. I have been tutoring English since I was 16! So quite a while over 4 years. So with that, I have experience with hundreds upon hundreds of students! I fell in love with the English subject in 5th grade when I learned it was a way to express myself. I would love the opportunity to help you find your love for English too, even if it's just through a simple assignment.

My teaching methods are very visual and hands-on. I love bringing in and showing multiple different writers that are relevant to the topics/curriculum I'm teaching. I love to help students find their own writing style and love for writing. I think what sets me apart from other teachers is I'm not just trying to help your student one time with one essay or literary assignment. I want to help your student find their voice through their writing and studies. So that even one small tutoring session can open their eyes and help them in the future. I make sure to teach students things they can go off of when I'm not around or just when they're stuck. I provide a ton of physical materials so they can have them on hand at all times! I am qualified to teach Grade School, Jr. High, High School, and College Students. I'd love to help your student!
