About Sui
I wasn't always the student I am today. I used to deny and not care too much for school or my grades. Luckily I was able to turn that around just in time to when they mattered for college. I did this by instilling a love for learning in myself even when I didn't love the topics I needed to learn. I want to do the same with my students. I can cover topics in any single high school level STEM course as well as majority of college level STEM courses.

My belief when it comes to learning, is that more importantly than understanding the what, is understanding the how. My goal as a tutor would be to make sure my students not only understand how to solve problems, but why it is that they should solve problems this way. During my undergraduate studies at Cornell, I realized that especially for higher level classes, practice problems can only get you so far, what really helps you excel is understanding the concepts behind our topics such that we can be adaptive problem solvers. My goal as a teacher is not just to teach my students topics, it's to teach them how to be lifelong learners.
