About Cheryl
Conversation flows naturally when you engage with the cultural roots of the language. To tell the truth, I actually enjoy reviewing weekly conversation recordings more than correcting static papers. We will look at reading comprehension and everyday phrases for beginners during our time together. My sessions for travelers and business professionals focus on practical application.
Even students preparing for exams find that my BA Music populaire background helps them grasp nuance. I integrate role play and dialogue practice to ensure you sound authentic. Reading comprehension, pronunciation, and everyday phrases for beginners define my technical approach. Speaking honestly, I find grammar rules much easier to explain when they are rhythmically linked to a melody.
I spent 13 years performing across the Montreal folk circuit while earning my BA Music populaire at UQAM. This degree grounds my linguistic perspective in the flow of French chanson. I regularly assist adults with relocation, immigration, travel French, and business French.
Preparing for exams like IELTS, DELE, or DELF requires a structured method. My lessons also incorporate writing skills, interview preparation, and accent and intonation work. Role play and dialogue practice make up the core of my weekly interactions.
