About Lucy
I am a pianist and musicologist undertaking a BA at the University of Oxford. I am predominantly a pianist and achieved my LRSM qualification as well as GCSE Music [A*], A-level music [A], Grade 8 Theory [ABRSM]. I have been teaching the piano for five years and have also tutored students for ABRSM piano exams, GCSE music and A-level music. I also have experience working with Eton and Oxbridge applicants who require help with their musical scholarship assessment! I am fortunate enough to have had very broad and intense musical training and so am prepared tutor in a variety of musical subjects.

I approach academia and practical music differently as I find each require different methods to show successful results. However, my general ethos is to cater to the individual needs of the student and take the time to understand how best to motivate them.
