About Kim
I've been a teacher, researcher and writer for over 30 years. I've taught all age groups from children through adults. I have a BA in German and Music History and Masters in Art and Education. I also have a TESOL certification. I'm a published writer of books and articles on music and art for magazines and online research sites. I love to travel, read, write, and go to museums, the symphony, ballet and opera. On Facebook I administrate several classical music groups, such as The Brilliance of Beethoven and Absolutely Amadeus.

Let's keep things fun and interesting! Music history should be enlightening and exciting, but NEVER boring. I like to use certain elements in my lessons that help foster knowledge of the subject, such as: visuals, discussion, listening exercises, question and answer, music vocabulary, etc. We will learn about the different eras in music history, the composers, and their masterpieces.
