About Marin
My teaching approach combines technique, expression, and creativity to help students grow as confident and versatile pianists. I focus on classical phrasing and articulation techniques, ensuring each note and phrase communicates clearly. Expressive dynamics are an essential part of my lessons, helping students bring emotion and nuance to their music. Performance memory is also a priority, allowing students to play confidently and with freedom in any setting.
I tailor lessons to suit each learner’s goals, whether exploring original compositions or performing contemporary music. I guide students to develop their personal style while mastering technical foundations. Through careful listening and targeted exercises, I help them refine precision, tone, and musicality.
I support creative learners in composing, arranging, and interpreting music in ways that highlight their unique voice. I also help students excel in performing popular repertoire, encouraging confidence and stylistic understanding. Lessons are structured yet flexible, blending discipline with inspiration.

With over six years of teaching experience and a Licentiate of Music in Piano, I guide students on a journey where music becomes storytelling. I believe every piece holds a world of imagery, emotion, and hidden narrative waiting to be discovered. Literature, visual art, and personal reflection often inspire the way we approach the piano, turning each lesson into an exploration of mood and meaning.
My students learn to listen deeply, to shape phrasing, and to uncover symbolism woven into melodies. Each note carries intention, each chord breathes life. Together, we explore repertoire that evokes emotion and sparks imagination, where technical mastery meets heartfelt expression. I especially enjoy working with creative learners and sensitive souls who wish to connect deeply with the music they play.
