About Courtenay
I try to take a serious approach to help others learn the basics of music theory but in a fun interesting way.
I think everyone can benefit from learning even a small amount about music. Personally, I can say it has helped me find the career path I know I can flourish in as well as it still being a hobby. Being able to participate in any music ensemble or group has given me confidence, team-building skills, and determination. Knowing detailed music theory has also enhanced my appreciation for the music I listen to and broadened the kind of music I am interested in.

Lessons would be taught online, for instrument tuition students would need their own instrument. (instruments I would offer to would include, recorder, clarinet, and saxophone)
Typical length: 30, 45, or 60 minute lessons (price varying for each)
Teaching would be a gentle approach to music that makes it accessible to all ages.
I have tutored young children with music theory (mainly taking the approach of activities rather than paper-based) for 5 years.
I can also offer maths and English tutoring no higher than GCSE level.
