About Tom
I am a Music undergraduate at Durham University, currently on a gap-year before my final year. I would love to put the knowledge and experience I have gained thus far in my musical career to good use by helping students to achieve their full potential in the subject, whatever their goals may be.

Skills are crucial for success in music, e.g. harmonisation or making a musical argument in an essay, so honing them will be a significant part of lessons. The right content knowledge is also important, though, and we will make sure it is ready for exams etc.. Working through exam questions would be a key way to track our progress for both these things. Lessons would be as long as we feel they need to be and I am flexible with when they are scheduled. All ages and levels of study are welcome. I am a very relaxed and friendly person, who loves his subject and looks forward to sharing his knowledge and passion with others!
