About Jared
Choosing me means working with someone who understands that music theory can feel intimidating and knows how to make it approachable. I am patient, encouraging, and committed to helping you truly understand the material rather than simply memorize it. I will tailor each session to your learning style, answer your questions without judgment, and help you build the confidence and skills you need to succeed in your coursework and beyond.

As a music theory student who’s done well in my classes, I know how overwhelming theory can feel at first. I’m patient, easygoing, and genuinely enjoy helping people learn. I like breaking difficult concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps and adapting my approach to fit how each person learns best. I believe there are no bad questions, and I want every session to feel relaxed and encouraging. My goal is to help you build confidence, understand the material, and maybe even start enjoying music theory along the way!
