About Charly
I have a degree in music and more than 10 years of experience as a private (face-to-face an online lessons, both in Spanish and English) and school teacher, besides 20+ years of musical career, playing in different bands. Among the genres I've played are: rock, metal, blues, funk, disco, ballad, Colombian folk.
I'm able to manage students of different ages and levels. I have a wide knowledge of instruments such as: acoustic/electric guitar, soprano recorder, singing, ukulele and melodica.

As an ice breaker, we can talk a little bit about who we are, what we like or don't like (about music, obviously), how long we have been practicing with the instrument (or also, if you are totally new to the process; no problem), and what you would like to learn.
I consider my methodology very simple: starting from my student's level (either beginner or with previous knowledge) and interests, we can select a list of songs according to the current level and from there, we start working on the musical concepts related to the song chosen to learn. I always make sure that my classes are oriented towards "conscious" practice; that is, with some theoretical foundations as a complement. The most important thing is to have fun making music!
