About Marissa
I’ve been playing violin since I was 6. Throughout my life I’ve participated in music festivals and performances for violin including my time at the Crane School of Music in SUNY Potsdam and Brooklyn College. I have played in string orchestras and for private events including weddings. As a private strings teacher I’ve helped students across the tri-state area to succeed in NYSSMA festivals and for college auditions. I’ve done this by building technique basics to create a strong foundation. As a music classroom teacher I have helped students of all ages to achieve their instrumental playing goals. In my profession I’ve been described as patient, kind, flexible, fun, and hard working.
