About Richard
• Play violin up to a Grade VI standard along with the ability to read music and play other instruments such as piano, harmonica, melodica, guitar and percussion. Can teach guitar and basic keyboard/piano. Record, mix and produce my own material.
• Worthy knowledge of music theory and how to apply it
• Played in numerous bands, with gig experience
• Hold an Upper 2.1 degree in Music from University of Hertfordshire
• Volunteered at a Catholic Primary, assisted students with numeracy & literacy skills, worked with groups & individuals. I also assisted with music for the school nativity play.
• 130 Hours TEFL experience
• Taught Phonics at a language school to young children
• Taught English Conversation (intensive/gifted) classes at Ongkharak Demonstration school
• Taught in a bilingual program in Thailand
• Experience teaching Kindergarten, Primary, High School and University
• Corrected grammar in theses, dissertations and essays for university lecturers and students
• Produced a musical with children in a primary school
• 4 years teaching English experience
• Teaching English online to students, via the internet using an online platform that’s partnered with American TESOL Institute and Pearson Test of English.
