About Eva
My name is Eva and I've been based in Edinburgh for over 8 years, where I've had the opportunity to study a BA(Hons) in Music at Edinburgh College and Kingston University London. Previous to this, I studied classical flute in the conservatoire back in Spain. Moreover, I studied modern singing through Estill Technique and got the music theory diploma at LCM. In the last few years I've been focused in music theory and music composition through technology which has given me the opportunity to be granted an MA in music composition for film, TV, theater and brands at the prestigious conservatoire ESMUC, in Barcelona. During this time I've got experience teaching voice, flute, piano skills and composition for the image in one-to-one sessions and in groups (adults and kids) as well as working with teens with mental health issues through an NHS program and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. My lessons are fun, relaxed and personalised to each student. If this sounds good to you, let's start this fun journey together!

My classes are based on a combination of methods, allowing the musical expression through creativity while learning the necessary techniques to play an instrument. (For those interested, classes can be taught entirely in Spanish or Català). I always like to spend the lesson by doing some warm ups first, followed by technique exercices and finally using the rest of the time to learn a piece of music (solo and duo).
I teach from 7 years olds to adults.
I teach: - FLUTE from beginners to intermediate level with the possibility of preparing for the London College of Music or ABRSM exams. - VOICE/SINGING through the Estill technique for beginner to intermediate levels with the possibility of preparing for the London College of Music exams. - COMPLEMENTARY PIANO or "keyboard skills" - MUSIC THEORY applied to composition through technology (MUSIC PRODUCTION) and/or SONGWRITING, from beginner to advanced. (With the possibility of preparing for the Popular Music Theory exams at the London College of Music).
