Emelye is an excellent piano teacher who has been teaching my son for about 2 years now. He had previously had lessons at his school but his progress was very slow. She is extremely patient, calm and gentle and despite my son being very strong-willed and somewhat stubborn, as soon as Emelye arrives for the lesson, he suddenly cooperates! She has a calming effect on him, and motivates him in a way I can't seem to. She is a very good pianist and has an excellent knowledge of the theory of music, thanks to her music degrees. She will also learn pieces that I want to play, in order to help me understand how it should sound.
