About Victoria
Hello! My name is Victoria, and I am a music educator and tutor based in New York City. I recently graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and a minor in Mathematics. In Fall 2026, I will begin my graduate studies at Teachers College, Columbia University in Bilingual/Bicultural Childhood Special Education.
My primary instrument is trumpet, and my undergraduate studies focused on trumpet and brass education. Throughout my academic and professional experiences, I have worked with students of various ages through private lessons, classroom teaching, summer music programs, and K–12 substitute teaching. These experiences have strengthened my ability to connect with students, adapt instruction to individual needs, and create engaging learning experiences.
In addition to music instruction, I offer elementary math tutoring and academic support. As a bilingual educator, I am able to work with both English- and Spanish-speaking families.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, building LEGO sets, exploring bookstores, and finding creative ways to learn new things. I believe curiosity and confidence are important parts of learning, and I strive to help students develop both.
Whether a student is learning an instrument for the first time, preparing for a performance, or strengthening foundational math skills, I am committed to helping them succeed in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Hello! My name is Victoria, and I recently graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and a minor in Mathematics. This fall, I will begin my graduate studies at Teachers College, Columbia University in Bilingual/Bicultural Childhood Special Education.
My teaching approach is student-centered, supportive, and individualized. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor lessons to each student's goals, learning style, and experience level. Whether a student is learning their first notes on an instrument or building confidence in elementary math, I strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
For music students, lessons typically include technique development, music reading, ear training, musicianship, and performance skills. I offer instruction in trumpet (beginner through advanced), euphonium, beginner brass, beginner guitar, and music theory. Lessons are designed to help students develop strong musical foundations while fostering creativity and confidence.
For elementary math students, I provide support with foundational math concepts, homework help, problem-solving strategies, and skill reinforcement. My goal is to make math engaging, approachable, and understandable while helping students gain confidence in their abilities.
What sets me apart is my combination of classroom teaching experience, private instruction experience, and specialized training in education. I have worked with students of various ages and learning needs through private lessons, K–12 classrooms, summer music programs, and substitute teaching. As a bilingual educator, I can also support English- and Spanish-speaking families.
Lessons are available for children and beginning learners in a supportive, engaging, and encouraging environment.
